We brought liquid sophistication to town with a host of activity for the launch of summer's most stylish cocktail, the Cointreau Blush. We teamed this drink with fashion at the Voodoo Magic Launch Pad in Sydney and Melbourne, the InStyle Studio at Westfield Bondi Junction and the flagship store opening of clothing brand Hussy in Sydney.

The Fragrance Foundation
We loved working with the Fragrance Foundation this year, giving them a spritz of new colour, concepts and content. We also managed events like Fragrance workshops and their annual gala dinner, Parfums Gourmand, which saw over $20,000 raised for the cosmetics industry's selected charity.

BlueScope Steel
Working in collaboration with architects and building designers around Australia, we helped to showcase and publicise the best steel building designs around. We also supported the launch of a microsite with PR and undertook blogger relations activity for BlueScope Steel's thermally efficient roofing product Thermatech®.

We basked in PR glory when our integrated program of sponsorship, publicity, online and onsite activity for Rosemount Australian Fashion Week won a Beauty Directory Star award in the Luxe Category for Best PR Campaign. We introduced Australia's favourite apple to the media for the first time sparking interest from both food titles and local press. We launched Batlow Apples' first ever cookbook and created a hugely successful e-newsletter, Batlow Bites.

To celebrate the 10th birthday of this iconic Sydney restaurant, we hosted a series of media lunches with leading food and lifestyle journalists. Loyal patrons, who have kept Cafe Sydney as the number one Sydney hot spot, were rewarded with bi monthly value add offers.

Singha
Our mobile Singha Bar revived Thai-ered workers at their Friday night office drinks. The travelling bar was stockpiled with Thailand's favourite holiday beer and nibbles were welcomed at every lucky destination. We also brought a little bit of Thailand to Bondi with our Singha Sunday events at Ravesi's, all of which helped in exceeding sales targets for the year.

We helped IGA encourage Australian families to live a balanced lifestyle with IGA's Food 4 Life program and the launch of its new celebrity ambassador, internationally renowned chef and TV personality, Jason Roberts.

Bringing new meaning to the phrase ‘the naked chef', we had fun exposing the cuisine of Merivale's nine world class restaurants which saw over 10,000 extra patrons marching through the door in the month-long festival of March into Merivale.

Trade Commission of Spain
Over 123,000 people visited Spain this year – at the Good Food and Wine Show in Australia and the Food Show in New Zealand - where we created a beautiful Spanish streetscape and tapas bar. We also took the flavours of Spain online with a new blog for Olives and Olive Oil from Spain and grew our newsletter database to over 11,000 members.

AIDS Trust Sydney Food & Wine Fair
Burlesque, gospel music, drag queens and the best food and wine Sydney has to offer – it's all in a day's work at the AIDS Trust Sydney Food & Wine Fair. Our publicity campaign and management of media partners and sponsors resulted in 35 pieces of coverage, helped to attract 15,000 visitors in one day and raised much needed funds.

The tastebuds of leading bartenders and trade media were tempted by the wonderfully curious Hendrick's Gin. Guests in Melbourne and Sydney were taken on a most unusual adventure, led by a man with a cucumber in his hand to coincide with the international brand ambassador's visit.

For the third year we rolled up our sleeves for The Wine Society's Young Winemaker of the Year awards using publicity and sponsorship negotiation to promote the event and its winemakers as well as engaging over 20 of the country's top sommeliers to participate.

Good Food & Wine Show
For the Good Food & Wine Show we undertook a blogger outreach program and launched a YouTube channel with behind the scenes footage of celebrity chefs. We also welcomed Mr Ramsay back to our shores for the second year, managing his (complex!) publicity in Melbourne and Sydney.

Barney's of Bookham
Our fearless leader Marguerite turned her hand to hospitality this year, opening a diner style café in her home town of Bookham. A publicity campaign, Facebook page and blogger outreach had traffic detouring to Barney's of Bookham for the best cup of coffee and big breakfast on the Hume Highway.

If you want to drink real cider it feckin' ought to be from Ireland! In slightly more elegant prose we educated trade and consumer media on the key messages of Magners cider, launched the tasty new Pear variety and managed a number of sponsorships and alignments with the music industry.

The Irresistible Gluten Free Show
We managed the publicity for the Irresistible Gluten Free Food Show in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. Generating close to 100 media clippings in three states, we called out to the hundreds of thousands of Australians suffering from dietary issues to soothe their bellies and calm their minds with expert advice and delicious food options.

Italian Chamber of Commerce
Next stop Italy - where we hosted key media at a number of events for the Italian Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Renowned Master Chef, Franco Favaretto, and regional wine expert, Elena Piutti, put on a spread of infinite proportions and deliciousness to promote the cuisine, wines, tourism and trade of the beautiful Regione Veneto.

StreetSmart
We gave some pro bono support to the team at StreetSmart helping them with their 'Dine Out to Help Out' campaign. We also launched a Twitter competition and publicity campaign resulting in national coverage and the participation of over 245 quality Australian restaurants in its charity program.

Mount Gay Rum
Who said Rum wasn't a dinner drink? For the launch of the Mount Gay Rum 1703 Old Cask Selection and the re-packaged Mount Gay Rum Extra Old we led a flavour filled exploration of food and rum at Foveaux Restaurant and Bar. We're still savouring the taste of the coffee and honey martini.

Taste of Sydney 2010
Already looking forward to March 2010, we're excited to be working with the internationally renowned food festival, Taste of Sydney, and have just begun a media relations campaign to generate buzz and publicity for this must attend foodie event.
